FindPassengers is a platform that helps you find passengers from the exact same flight. You can share information with fellow passengers when a flight is delayed or cancelled, and after the flight you can compare what happened with other passengers’ compensation claims.
Did another passenger on your flight receive compensation while your claim was rejected? Are other passengers still waiting for a decision? Or are you currently stuck at an airport and wondering what information other passengers have received?
FindPassengers brings people who experienced the same flight together.
Simply search by flight number and date to find the passenger group for your specific flight.
Can I find other passengers from my flight?
Yes. That is the foundation of FindPassengers.
Enter your flight number and flight date to find the group for your specific flight and connect with fellow passengers who have joined it.
This can be useful while you are still at the airport, but also days, weeks, months or even years after the flight took place.
The people who experienced the same flight as you may have information that is relevant to you.
Did another passenger on my flight receive compensation?
This is one of the main reasons FindPassengers exists.
Imagine your flight was significantly delayed or cancelled and you later submitted a compensation claim.
Your claim was rejected.
That raises a very simple question:
Did other passengers on the exact same flight receive compensation?
Normally, finding out is difficult. You may know only a handful of people from the aircraft, and once everyone has gone home, contact between passengers usually disappears.
FindPassengers makes it possible to reconnect with fellow passengers and compare claim outcomes reported by people from the same flight.
For example, you may be able to see whether other passengers report that their claim has not yet been submitted, is still pending, has been rejected, or resulted in compensation.
Once a flight group exists in FindPassengers, it can remain available after the journey. Passengers can therefore return not only days or months later, but potentially years later to see what claim outcomes fellow passengers have reported.
Claim statuses are reported by users and are not independently verified legal decisions. Another passenger’s claim outcome does not determine whether you are personally entitled to compensation. It does, however, provide insight into the experiences of passengers affected by the exact same flight.
My flight is delayed. Can I share information with other passengers?
Yes. FindPassengers can also be useful while a flight delay is happening.
Imagine you have already been waiting at the airport for hours.
The departure time keeps changing, information at the gate is limited, and different passengers are hearing different things.
One passenger may have spoken to an airline representative. Another may have received a text message or email. Someone else may have been told that a replacement aircraft is on its way.
Through the passenger group, travellers from the same flight can share the information they have received.
Instead of every passenger trying to work out what is happening individually, fellow passengers can share information and experiences with each other.
Information shared by other users remains community-provided information. For official flight information, safety instructions and important travel decisions, always follow information provided by the airline, airport and relevant authorities.
My flight is cancelled. What have other passengers been told?
Passengers can also help each other when a flight is cancelled.
A cancellation can immediately create many practical questions.
Will there be a replacement flight? Are passengers being rebooked? Is accommodation being arranged? Where should passengers go for further information? What alternatives have other passengers already been offered?
Other passengers from your flight may have received information that has not yet reached you.
FindPassengers provides one place where passengers who have joined the flight group can exchange these experiences.
Have other passengers been offered a hotel, food or transportation?
A long delay or cancellation can raise questions about meals, hotel accommodation and transportation.
Another passenger may know where vouchers are being distributed. Some travellers may already have been taken to a hotel. Others may have received information about transportation to a hotel, another airport or their final destination.
Through FindPassengers, passengers from the same flight can share what they have been offered and what information they have received.
This can be particularly useful when large numbers of travellers are waiting at an airport and information does not reach everyone at the same time.
FindPassengers does not determine what a passenger is legally entitled to. The platform helps passengers from the same flight share their experiences and information.
Can passengers share information and evidence?
Yes.
Information that may seem unimportant during a flight disruption can become relevant later.
Examples include photos of airport departure boards, screenshots of flight updates, messages or emails from the airline, and information provided at the airport.
Passengers from the same flight can compare their information and experiences and share relevant information within the passenger group.
This can also be useful later if questions arise about exactly what happened during the disruption.
My compensation claim was rejected. What happened to other passengers?
If your compensation claim has been rejected, it can be useful to know what happened to claims submitted by other passengers from the same flight.
Perhaps all participating passengers were rejected and received the same explanation.
But passengers may also report different responses or different claim outcomes.
Through FindPassengers, passengers can compare their experiences and discuss the information they have received.
FindPassengers does not determine whether an airline has acted correctly under the law and does not guarantee that any passenger is entitled to compensation.
The platform allows passengers to see what other travellers from the same flight are reporting and decide for themselves what they may want to do next.
Can passengers compare reasons for rejected compensation claims?
Yes.
When passengers from the same flight share their claim experiences, it may become clear whether they received the same or different reasons for rejection.
An airline may provide several passengers with the same explanation. In other cases, participating passengers may report different information or different claim outcomes.
Comparing these experiences can give passengers greater insight into what happened around their flight and the compensation claims that followed.
FindPassengers brings information from fellow passengers together but does not make legal judgments about whether a claim or rejection is valid.
Can passengers from the same flight stand stronger together?
That is an important part of the idea behind FindPassengers.
When many passengers are affected by the same flight disruption, each individual passenger may have only part of the available information.
One passenger may have received an email from the airline. Another may have been given information at the airport. Someone else may already have received a response to a compensation claim.
By connecting these passengers, they can compare information, experiences and claim outcomes.
This can be valuable when several passengers receive the same rejection, but also when some passengers report receiving compensation while others are still waiting or have been rejected.
Passengers can use this information to decide for themselves what to do next, such as requesting additional information or seeking professional advice.
FindPassengers does not organise legal proceedings and does not determine whether an airline owes compensation. The platform allows passengers who experienced the same flight to find each other and share information.
If hundreds of people were affected by the same flight, why should everyone have to figure it out alone?
Can FindPassengers help after a missed connection?
A delayed or cancelled flight can cause multiple passengers to miss connecting flights.
Passengers may then be offered different routes, replacement flights or other solutions.
Through the passenger group, fellow travellers can exchange practical information and experiences about how they are dealing with the situation.
Can FindPassengers be used after a diverted flight?
Yes. When an aircraft is diverted to another airport, many passengers can suddenly be facing the same questions.
How will we reach our original destination? Is transportation being arranged? Will there be another flight? What has the airline told other passengers?
Connecting with passengers from the same flight can help bring the available information together.
Can FindPassengers help with baggage problems?
When baggage is delayed, missing or damaged, multiple passengers from the same flight may be experiencing the same problem.
Through the passenger group, you can find out whether other participating travellers are reporting similar baggage problems and what information they have received.
Can FindPassengers be used after a serious or unusual flight incident?
FindPassengers can also provide a place for passengers to reconnect after an unusual or serious flight incident, such as a major diversion, emergency landing or other significant disruption.
People who experienced the same event can exchange information and experiences afterwards.
FindPassengers is not an emergency or crisis communication service and never replaces emergency services, airlines, airports or official authorities. During an emergency, always follow official safety instructions.
Why FindPassengers?
Hundreds of people can be affected by the exact same flight delay, cancellation or other disruption.
Yet almost all contact between those passengers disappears as soon as they leave the airport.
FindPassengers wants to change that.
During a flight disruption, passengers can find each other, share information and help each other understand what is happening.
After the flight, they can compare experiences, information and compensation claims.
And even years after the flight took place, passengers can return to an existing flight group on FindPassengers to see what fellow passengers have shared and how their claims ultimately turned out.
The idea behind FindPassengers is simple:
You experienced the same flight. Why should you have to figure everything out alone?
Find your flight. Find your passengers. Compare claim outcomes.
Stand strong together.
Good to know
FindPassengers launched in September 2026. Once a flight has been added to FindPassengers, its flight group can remain available for years. This allows passengers to return long after their journey to review and compare information, experiences and claim outcomes shared by fellow passengers.
Is your flight not yet available on FindPassengers? Historical flight data can currently be searched back approximately one year. This means that an older flight that was not previously added to FindPassengers may no longer be available to create.
The availability of historical flight data may be expanded in the future.
